We Are Committed To Making A Difference

Check out this short video with Pastor Jason Surratt to learn about how Seacoast is making a difference.

From North Charleston, Hanahan and West Ashley to Mount Pleasant, Ladson and Irmo – Seacoast volunteers have been hard at work across the Lowcountry. One of Seacoast’s own families was hit hard by Irma, as their downtown Charleston house was filled with over a foot of water. We helped Joel Christy and his family muck out their home, wash clothes and much more. You can watch Pastor Jason Surratt above, as he details our efforts to help the Christy’s. We Joel himself was already preparing to head down to Florida, to lead one of our relief teams there. He’s still going, because for Joel, the opportunity “to serve the community and to be the hands and feet of the Lord? That’s what it’s all about.” You can read about the Christy’s story HERE.

We are committed to making a difference wherever we can in our communities. If you have been impacted by the recent hurricanes and need assistance, please email relief@seacoast.org.
